WHO in 2012: Upton Park is a shithole full of gangs and ethnics. We need to move to Stratford where everything is great and lovely and modern (plus we will fulfil our destiny of finally becoming a massive big time big money club)

So did we but then again we saw a lively pub and bar which looked like it already had its regular customers, so i guess they can then start getting picky about passing trade.
Didn’t help when they only stocked their own beer brands which we couldn’t understand and being after a few of our own it took a while to sink in.
I’ve got a feeling that walk away from the Stratford centre will actually be the best thing.

My old dad came from Leytonstone he said if you ventured out of your manor you'd expect a punch up.

See the thing is grassyson, West Ham used to fight West Ham at certain points there as it was a pass through place, East London looks like one big happy family to you because of a certain football club but there were often rucks between Canning Town and Stratford that were far worse, even girlfriends getting glassed in bars.
You wouldn’t know this though as you lived mainly in a tarty social media era.Prior to that this shit didn’t get reported and people were more savvy of the areas they were visiting and aware it could go tits up at certain places.

Fwiw I'm not really arsed either way. It's just funny that after all the moaning about how much of a dump UP was and how wonderful it'd be at Stratford, it now seems at least once every week there's a thread like this popping up about a huge fight witnessed at Westfield, plus constant moaning about being shepherded around like cattle etc.

Ah you dumb fucks from the sticks.....there’s just as many WHITE Easto’s there except unlike these chav ‘gangs’ they run a serious concern and own things like pubs etc.They don’t get involved in this petty shit that goes on in the shopping malls that’s a low level turf war.Stratford has always been rough and a haven for doing all sorts but it’s well avoidable as now you go away from it or out your way to go towards it. Upton Park had got to the point where local people just didn’t want the upheaval every other Saturday and resentment set in as none of them were into football and we went bang smack through the middle of it as a DAYTRIPPER.
The two bits of Stratford that are dodge in the Malls BOTH involve a Macca D’s.
All avoidable with a bit of local nouse about the geography of the place.
